A couple weeks ago I stumbled upon this short gem of  a film, on FORM FIFTY FIVE one of the websites that I try to check in to often because they’ve got great pieces on design from around the world which are super conceptual, creative and diverse. BONUS, their website is gorgeous and everything is nicely formatted for easy browsing. The film I’m referring to is called Address is Approximate, which is a short stop motion animation film that relies heavy on Google Earth for the imagery, which is in itself, way cool.  For those of you who are unfamiliar with the term stop motion animation, to quote Wikipedia, it’s a “…technique to make a physically manipulated object appear to move on its own. The object is moved in small increments between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of frames is played as a continuous sequence.” IE. the movie Coraline, Corpse Bride and The Nightmare Before Christmas. Address is Approximate was made by Theory Films, a film and video production group based in the UK.

WATCH IT , I guarantee you’ll enjoy it =)
